Print Preparation

Most people think printing is simply applying ink to paper evenly and precisely. The stages that come before and after the actual printing are just as important.

The printing process has 3 production stages: prepress, press and binding or finishing.

The prepress stage is where the technical will make any final adjustments to ensure that the image file for the project is ready. The printing plate that holds the print image will then be produced. In offset printing, one plate is created for every color that will be used.

Our prepress department is completely up to date with the latest in digital equipment and computer software which allows us to work with Mac, PC and PDF files. This ensures that our high quality proofing systems eliminate the use of photo and plate developing chemicals which cause damage to our environment. We also recycle 100% of the aluminum plates that used in the printing process.
